Monster High C.A. Cupid Doll - Now You Can Play Cupid At The Monster High Party

Mattel has done it once again.  Just as the cast of the ever famous Monster High grows, with every popular character, you can already expect to see its doll appear on the market.  If you have a little girl, it won’t be long before she’ll start begging you to grab one off the shelf and take it home.  One of the latest additions is the Monster High C.A. Cupid Doll.

Monster High - The Setting

Let’s start with a little background focusing first on Monster High.  MH is actually a fantasy high school where the only thing that really sets it apart from your typical school has got to be the students who go there.  Here you will find the children of monsters of yesteryear roaming the halls, attending classes and shooting spitballs at the teacher.  But unlike their mommies and daddies, these students are anything but scary.  They are freaky and fabulous, not to mention fashionable, all at the same time.  From book to webisode to TV show to toy line, it is pretty clear to see that little girls just cannot get enough of them.

Who is C.A. Cupid ?

Although her father Eros, the god of love, has been around for practically forever, C.A Cupid is one of the newest members of Monster High.  Just like dad, she also has her bow and arrow however, she obviously does not have his aim.  So instead of missing shot after shot, she makes her monster matches on air as she hosts her very own radio show right from the catacombs of Monster High.

The Monster High C.A. Cupid Doll has porcelain white skin that “fades” into black at her hands and feet.  She has short pink curly hair that is styled in such a way that it seems like she has a halo on her head.  Another thing that is pink are her little heart shaped lips.  Also, she wouldn’t be the daughter of Eros without her very own pair of wings, now would she?

The C.A. doll is wearing a one piece knee length dress.  The upper half is pale pink and has a black sash that runs right across the middle making an X while it serves as the straps to hold the whole thing up at the same time. The skirt is white that turns into pink at the bottom with an intricate black heart print patter running around the hem.  She has on a pair of matching white and pink stilettos that, of course, features a heat design.  She has pink dangling earrings with a bangle of the exact same hue and a white heart shaped purse as well.

Unlike the other Monster High dolls, this 9 x 3 x 13 (L x W x H) inch doll does not come with a pet which is a bit of a departure from the other dolls but I guess this fits in with her unique character. She first makes an appearance in the Sweet 1600 story where Draculaura is celebrating her 1600th birthday. She has a huge party to celebrate and all the main characters come along including C A.

C A Cupid has a reputation as a Love coach and even runs the radio station at Monster High. Her favorite show on the radio is her Love chat show where she solves all sorts of relationship problems for the other kids. She obviously got her insider knowledge on the tricky subject of relationships from her God like family, who seemed to specilize in hooking people up for thousands of years, with and without a bow and arrow !
