What Is Monster High?

Monster high started out as on online frenzy about life at high school but not in your ordinary campus with your ordinary students. The characters here are kind of like Barbie meets monster. Coming from the same company, Mattel, all of them are the children of famous ghosts, monsters, etc. of the past, like Cleopatra, Dracula, Frankenstein to name a few. But none of them are scary at all. In fact, they are all fairly attractive and have a good eye for fashion.

Now, with the growing popularity and demand for the Webisodes, Monster High has come a long way. There are dolls, other merchandise, online games, downloads, and they even managed to become a real show that airs on TV.

Who is Holt Hyde ?

Just as the show gets bigger, so does the cast. Holt Hyde is one of the most recent additions to the Monster High dolls. He is the school DJ and his cool fashion sense makes him totally fit the part. That and his adorable pet chameleon, Crossfade, make him climb up the social pyramid in no time becoming popular just like his parents. Based on his name alone, he is obviously the son of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Description of the Holt Hyde Monster High Doll

With a new character comes a new doll. Holt Hyde stands 11 inches tall. His head is made from soft PVC plastic while the rest of his body is made from ABS plastic. Head to toe, his skin is a bright blue and his hair is a bright yellow and orange- It kind of looks like a burning flame. As if that wasn’t cool enough, his ensemble just add to it. He is sporting striped pants that have flames, kind of like his hair, at the bottom of each leg held together with a bright yellow belt. He has a red leather jacket over a white shirt. He has a pair of black high cut sneakers, and like a true DJ, he has a pair of matching headphones as well.

The doll is also fully articulated. This means that you can basically bend and twist him in so many different ways.

The Holt Hyde Monster High Doll comes with his pet chameleon, A back pack, a pair of shades, a doll stand, and a Monster High diary just like all of the dolls from this line have.
